Genevieve Hayton grew up on a farm in Conway, Washington. She became passionate about immigrant rights from an early age. While attending the University of Washington School of Law, Genevieve volunteered with the Immigrant Families Advocacy Project and interned at the Northwest Justice Project and Northwest Women’s Law Center.
After graduating from law school, Genevieve worked as an immigration attorney for five years. In 2015, she joined forces with her husband Josh, and began producing a music festival called Summer Meltdown. Genevieve remains committed to serving the immigrant community. She lives on her family’s farm in Conway with her husband Josh and son Elijah.
