Marcela Suárez Díaz is a Colombian mother of 2 and recently became a proud grandmother. She has specialized in the development of a social impact program with the objective of building cultural bridges. Her goal is to mitigate disparities in access to health care and equity for migrant farmworkers has been dedicated to this for over 9 years.
Marcela arrived to the US in 2011, thinking that she would continue working in Marketing and Business Management. However, life redirected her mission through the Migrant Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program of Sea Mar Community Health Centers. Marcela has a passion for serving the community, and she dreams of a society in which we can all feel welcomed and valued. Marcela firmly believes that empathy makes a difference in everyone’s life.
